In Boston there has to be more than two feet of snow on the ground in various places.

I can't help but think I made the right choice moving across the country when it comes to weather. Yesterday it was warm enough that I had my sunroof open. Before it started drizzling.

My laptop is currently out of commission. The harddrive decided to take an extended vacation. Luckily I got my data backed up before it died completely. At any rate, I'm using my PC at home and work, and I feel odd at times because I don't have any of my files or music, and I'm checking email through web browsers. Almost feel like I'm in another city, and just visiting an apartment that looks a lot like mine.

My parents came to visit for Christmas. It snowed a little while they were here. It ended up being bad timing, in retrospect, because everything was closed. It's hard to entertain yourself in an empty city.

I think we made the best of it, though. They had a good time, and we crammed a bunch of stuff in the last few days they were here. I got to visit some of the tourist stuff I previously hadn't had time to see.

Things are pretty systematic these days. Wake up, go to work, come back from work, entertain myself for a bit, sleep, repeat. I'm not complaining.

I've been thinking about going on some sort of trip when I get a chance. Maybe a road trip. I can't think of many places that I'd like to visit, though.

Although I do suppose life is a journey and not a destination. That's what they say, isn't it?
